Midweek meander.

I have been asked a few times about covering boxes and making soft boxes for storage purposes, after surfing around here's two sites that should fit the bill, and if your anything like me it might just spur you on to tidy up that fabric stash. Follow the link for tutorials.

Monday's storage ideas.

Here are the last of the storage ideas there are lots more around on the web they just take a bit of searching.

This is great for a craft space, open up the cupboard and away you go! It's a bit too clean and tidy for messy old me though.

I like all the hanging space used here, a good way of keeping fabrics as I always tend to forget what I've got.

This one is from an old mail sorting office but I think it could be easily made from old timber. It's basically shelves in a box with separators and front bars to stop things rolling out.

Don't forget I will be doing the draw for the give away at the end of the week.

More storage solutions for artists and crafters.

Hello again, here are some more lovely storage solutions for all my creative clutter. I am finding so many great ideas on the web that I really won't have any excuse for not sorting my new studio out. I'm guessing that I'm not the only creative person that has too much stuff that they can't bear to throw out so these ideas will be really useful.

Box it up.

Hang it up.

I actually use this system but I have mine on a tensioning wire.

Mix it up.
These spoons don't hold much but don't they look great?

Close it up.
This is a great idea but far to organised for me!

Bundle it up.
So pretty.

Put your feet up.
Have a good weekend.

A problem with all that stuff.

Hi as well as everything else thats going on in my life we have building work happening at the moment, exciting but chaos. Part of the building work is a new studio for me, I am determined to make stuff a bit more organised as I have to move it all anyway, so I have been searching around for storage ideas. Most people interested in art and craft keep loads of bits and pieces, just in case, so I thought I would share some of the ideas that I find over the coming few weeks. Todays offerings are small scale storage solutions that I think are great ideas.

Jars held in place by jubilee clips. Another solution using jars is to screw, nail or glue the lids to the underside of a shelf.

This storage is made from old tins that have been covered with sticky back plastic, screwed on as before, brilliant. from quirkymomma.

A great idea for ribbons you don't even have to take them out.

Shoe racks,
another great idea from www.craftystorage.blogspot.com

Finally my give away, a vintage pack for you to use and enjoy. The draw will take place next monday, good luck.
