Hello again it's been a while since I have posted on my blog but I'm back and hope that it will be a bit less erratic. There has been a lot going on some good some not so good but such is life I guess. It is difficult knowing what way to jump when you have had a break but I found these lovely etchings by artist
Susan Bowers, Susan is a contemporary artist, printmaker and book artist. I am drawn to the mark making and the mystery of these etchings, to me they 'feel' like an emotional inner landscape which draws you in.

Beautiful prints from Tom Foster and Amy Blay. I really like the colours in these old style prints, Amy Blays work is based on the colours of the 1950's.

  Mark Herald.

Eileen Schaer is an artist from the Isle of Wight, as well as her lino prints she  paints and sculpts. The naive quality of the imagery she uses, the dreamlike themes in her work and my love of printmaking all draw me into her lino cuts which are full of movement and energy, these are some of my favorites.

'Hen House'.

'Flying'.

'A Bird in the Hand'.

'The Rookery'.

Midweek meander. Lovely letterpress.

I know, I know you can do all of this on the ol' computer these days, but - and it's a big but its not the same. Call me old fashioned but there is something about classic letterpress which can't be imitated, for a start it's the way it bites into the paper leaving the memory of the press behind, and, and and-well see what you think.

The passion can not be hidden, wonderful indeed.

I am not superstitious normally, but when I see a magpie.......

These make me smile, Sapling Press.

Artist's Activist poster, love it.
