Midweek meander

Just recently I have taught myself to crochet, for some strange reason I wasn't able to get my head around it until now. To be fair though crochet used to be really boring unless you were into crochet doily's, now though it is great fun and inventive, in the same way that knitting has turned itself around with modern yarns and beautiful colours the same has happened to crochet. It's early days for me and I'm still on the easy stuff but I love it, a relaxing pick up and put down craft.

Whilst judging the handicraft at our local flower show I came across this lovely blanket.
