Fun Friday.

Well it's Friday again already, this year just seems to be flying by but perhaps it's just me! I thought for this week  we would take a look at some quirky three dimensional work, I really enjoy working with 3d objects, all that building and making is right up my street, there is something really satisfying about creating an object out of bits and pieces and then you end up with, well who knows but it certainly didn't exsist in the world before! Here is the work of Colette Bain and some of her creations.

Rabbiting on.

The Sea the Sea.

Little Red Fox.

Blue Beastie.
You can see more of Colette's work here www.emmaswolf.com Fun stuff.

Now the work of Julie Arkell a really well known artist who also works in a naive foksy way.
Julie's creatures and dolls.
I couldn't find a wesite for Julie but her work is easy to find.

Which one would you choose?
If you close your eyes and look long enough, concentrate hard enough you will find that there's one lurking in all of us, how about setting it free. Have a good weekend and thanks for joining me.

I like nonsense it wakes up the brain cells.
Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living'
it's a way of looking at life throught the wrong end of a telescope.
Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at lifes realities.

Love the artists you share with us.
How cute is the little girl in the bottom picture.
The rabbit makes me smile but my favourite is the little red fox in the tin.
