Work by Tomas Saraceno.

I was lucky enough to get time to go and see this work at the Baltic art gallery, In collaboration with researchers and astrophyisists Tomas Saraceno spent several years developing a 350 cubic foot exact model of the web of the posionous black widow spider. It was amazing seeing and moving around such a large and beautiful constrution.

The real thing (not black widow you understand) two beautiful spiderwebs.

Raindrops caught like pearls on the surface of a web.

'The artist is a receptical for the emotions that
come from all over the place: from the sky, from
the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a
passing shape, from a spiders web'.
